Dayah or Islamic boarding Schools as Islamic educational institutions havelong been center of religious learning in Indonesia, including in Aceh.This article examines the development of dayah education over time the renewal of the dayah curriculum has undergone significant changes. Integrating religious education and general education in respon to the era of modernization. The study explores the potential and opportunities that can be utilized to enhance the rule of dayah. This study highlights the importance of dayah in maintaining trdisional islamic values while responding to the the needs of modern society. Through a literature analysis approach, this aricle identifies the integration of modern education systems within the dayah remains a pillar of Islamic seducation, priotizing flexibility and adaptation to changing times. Thus, dayah educational institutions play a strategic role in shaping individuals who are not only intellectually intelligent but also possess good character and morals
